Menudo came through surgery with flying colors! Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, tweets and emails! He's still in the hospital, hooked up to an IV and very, very groggy with his silly astronaut helmet on... He'll be there for several days so he moves as little as possible and his wound (which is pretty darn big) can heal. What Dogs Can Teach Us About Being Happy Now…
A couple of weeks ago one of my dogs, Menudo had a lump removed from his back leg. The lump was sent for biopsy and was determined to be malignant. One of the options was radiation therapy, until his leg showed signs of no longer being viable.. which means we have to have it amputated on friday.
