1) Traffic – Currently Facebook is the #2 most trafficked website in the world, second only to Google. The first rule of traffic I learned on the Internet is to not chase after traffic. Find out where the traffic is going and get in front of it. Again, the number 2 website in the world in terms of traffic.
2) 5000 vs. Unlimited – When you have just a Facebook Profile you are limited to only 5000 followers. While that may seem out of reach to you at the moment, as you grow you are going to want to have more room. A great benefit of a Fan Page is you can have an unlimited number of fans and followers.

Your Article Resource Box – The Secret to Getting the Most Traffic From Each and Every Article
Article Marketing is the number one source of free traffic on the Internet if you get your Resource Box right. Get this one wrong and you have wasted all your time. Get this one right and you have got it made!
What a Resource Box really is
Call it a Resource Box, Author Bio, etc., what it really is is your opportunity to create a compelling call to action for your reader. Even though it is called an Author Bio, it is not the time for you to tell the reader all about you and convince them you are an expert. In fact, if you have not demonstrated that you are an expert in your article, it is way to late to try to do it now.
Even though it is an official Call to Action, I like to teach my students and members to use what I call “invitational language” in their Resource Box. Invitational language can be something as simple as “and now I would like to invite you to…” and then name the next action you would like them to take. This is as opposed to something like “get this great new product now and all your problems will be solved by morning and if you don’t you will be broke forever!”
Sure I’ve exaggerated a bit, but not by much.

I actually have a slight problem with the name Article Marketing. I think people get scared of it because they say

Each article is actually a content-rich Advertising. And you know what will happen if you use traditional advertising like the Yellow Pages. That’s gone the way of the dinosaurs and is pretty much like flushing your money down the toliet…
If you don’t tap into things like social marketing, which includes Article Marketing, you won’t have a business soon. You can’t argue with what IS working.
