Vacation Video & Intentions ’09
Posted by: | CommentsHere’s a super-quick video (2 min 44 sec) of my Holiday vacation so far… tomorrow I’m actually going to be kayaking the Straits of Magellan with 5 other brave souls.. brrr!
and the end of the video is where I talk about a Holiday ritual I’ve done every year for the last several years about how I set my intentions for the next 12 months and do it in a way that empowers instead of leaving my hopes and dreams in the “wishing & wanting” stage…
I hope it will inspire you to create an Intention list that helps you Dream Big
(Huge, Gi-Normous!) because I believe you can create pretty much whatever you want in your life!
Some of my Intentions for 2009:
- narrow the focus of my business, following the signposts (opportunities) that have popped up
- collaborate with other “conscious entrepreneurs”
- ready to start dating again finally, it’s been 4 years! Doing my last ever all-LOA event right before Valentine’s Day, I’ll be interviewing the LOA love & relationship coach Dawn Allen so she can help me (and all my single LOA friends) start dating consciously!
- make 2009 the Year of Authenticity for me…
- keep squeezing the juice out of this life…
- appreciate, appreciate, appreciate… !
I’d love to know some of your Intentions for 2009! Go ahead, leave a comment and tell me what you’re going to create in your life! And Happy, Healthy and Inner Peace-full New Year!
Addicted to Adventure…
Posted by: | CommentsWhy do I love traveling so much…? The unknown experiences, the new people to meet, the fascinating cultures to explore…
There’s nothing better than going to new places and making new friends. It’s kind of like spreading a little friendliness and love all over the world. And if we do that each time we walk out the door… and feel like we’re on an adventure…
Who will I meet…?
Will they say something really special to make me stop and think…?
Will they help make me a better person…? Will I help them…?
Will we laugh until my face hurts…?
I can’t wait!
Tomorrow afternoon, 9+ hour, first-class (thank goodness) flight to the southern end of South America!
Here’s a picture of a recent adventure I took with Mountain Travel Sobek (one of my FAVORITE ways to travel) because they’re small, luxury trips with like-minded people…

| I’m the one in the red circle and my most adored travel companion is George, the man sitting on the right with the cane. With severe diabetes, walking with much difficulty, he trekked with us all over Egypt and Israel. Always with a smile, we all cheered him on…! He joined us in boarding a tiny, scary plane (a tin can with wings) in Cairo as we made our way south to Abu Simbel in the middle of NOWHERE in the desert. Amazing ancient construction and amazing teacher in George who taught me to have fun and be adventurous no matter what…Thanks George! |
