The Physics of Making Your Dreams Reality.

When you decide to make your dream a reality, there’s excitement, inspiration, motivation, anticipation and hope!

Yay!

Go Team!

You can do this!

You “see” the end goal.

The finish line.

You imagine yourself victorious.

What you don’t see is the equal and opposite natural reaction that follows the excitement and commitment which usually shows up as fear.

(Thank you Newton.)

To make your dreams real, you will have to overcome an equal and opposite amount of fear.

You will fail sometimes.

dreams vs fearsFear will win sometimes.

Fear might get bigger.

That’s ok.

It’s natural.

It’s science.

We humans add the drama making failure mean something bad about ourselves.

This is the Physics of Making Your Dreams Reality.

You decide every day, to follow the next, best, required actions to make your dream happen.

You re-decide every day.

You keep your big why in front of you all the time. (Just one of the reasons a Vision Board works.)

When you feel fear and experience failure, allow yourself to feel bad.

It’s OK.

Feeling bad won’t kill you.

What WILL kill your dream is

  • stopping because of the fear
  • changing your goal
  • shrinking your goal
  • or saying “Well, maybe it wasn’t meant to be.

If you have a desire or a dream, that is a MAJOR clue to your purpose.

Don’t let it die because of the normal fear every dream comes with.

Don’t let your dream die because of science.

Don’t let your dream die because of mental and emotional unnecessary drama.

Pick yourself up, use what you learned, re-commit.

The doodle below is from a series I created for Joe every single day for a year and a half when he was going for a goal.

Although he reached his goal a while ago (Yay! Go Team!), we still use them and have a scrapbook full of them on the coffee table, for when he and I need them.

Stay focused on following your dream, rather than succumbing to the equal and opposite reaction of fear.
