This is why coaching to solve for the CAUSE is SOO effective. A lot of coaching solves for the SYMPTOM.
A good example is most weight loss.
Symptom coaching = accountability, new diet and exercise program, removing “temptations” from the pantry.
This can work but most often ends up reverting back to old thought, emotion and action patterns.
Causal coaching = finding the underlying thoughts /beliefs, emotions causing overeating and/or lack of movement.
Solving for those thoughts and emotions that drive the unhealthy behaviors changes EVERYTHING.
This can be applied to most problems we humans have, not just weight loss.
Relationships, money, business, worthiness, clutter, overdrinking, overeating…
