Livestream Tip #2 – What if I Don’t Feel Like an Expert?
Last week I brought you the first in a series of livestreaming tips.
This week’s tip is also in response to what you told me you needed help with the most. (not including technical stuff, but more on the tech stuff in upcoming blog posts.)
Livestream Tip #2 – What to do if you don’t feel like an “expert”.
In the video, I share one of my doodle of a ladder that helps me communicate to my coaching clients HOW you can own your expertise and WHY your expertise is needed in the world.
I call it the Ladder of Expertise and explain it in the video.
It’s TOO easy to talk yourself out of sharing your gifts, talents, light and expertise in the world.
This shows up in many ways like::
- fear of being judged or criticized
- Imposter Syndrome (addressed by this tip in the video above.)
- fear of selling
- tech (stay tuned for tech help in the next few weeks!)
I hope this video and my story of how I got over my fear of not being “expert enough” so that I could grow my previous horse business will help you get yourself out there on livestreams.
Next week, I’ll be back with some quick yet INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT tips about selling from a place of love.
Maritza I love your concept of the ladder of expertise.
1- It helps me get clear on at what level of expertise I am today and how I can help people who want to reach that level.
2-Helps me set goals to continue climbing to higher levels for my benefit and that of my clients.
Thank you, lots of exciting work to do.
Thanks for the reminder and insight into the ladder of expertise, very helpful!
