Are you the hero of your own life? How to tell if you’re on a Hero’s Journey.

What does it mean to be the hero of your life?

The definition of a hero is:

A person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

But that’s only the END of a hero’s journey.

You might only be there for maybe a minute or two.

BEING a hero also includes everything in between the beginning of the journey and your triumphant end, like:

    •    Confusion
    •    Weariness
    •    Self-doubt
    •    Fear
    •    Disappointment
    •    Failure

The entire, uncomfortable process is the beautiful becoming of a NEW version of you, despite and because of the challenges.

It’s ok if it feels hard sometimes.

It’s ok if you fail often.

It’s ok if you don’t feel like a hero for the vast MAJORITY of the journey.

It’s ok if you have wounds and scraped up knees.

That doesn’t take away your heroism.

It confirms it.
