The Soybeans Spiritual Story

In this video, I share one of my favorite spiritual teaching stories from the Zen tradition…

This story shows us that most times, the things we worry about, those things keeping us up at night are really all in our head and can be released in an instant of recognition…

I don’t have a website, yet, Maritza. However, I wanted to let you know how much wisdom is contained in this little “Soybean” video. I know all about our illusory life on an intellectual level. Yet, for some reason, it’s so difficult for me to apply the principles behind all the teachings. I don’t know what is holding me back; what is blocking me from achieving all the things I know I can do and want to do. I used to achieve all me dreams, yet when my mother-in-law passed on in late 1998, I seem to have lost all my drive. It’s not her problem, and I certainly don’t blame her. For some reason, my illusion changed, though. And, quite frankly, I just don’t know what to do about it. I’ve tried everything to break this depressing habit, except for the one thing that will work and for which I am still searching. However, I want you to know that this little story is a pure and wonderful gem that really resonates with me.
