I agree about the importance of list building. I do exactly what you do, in acting like a customer to the point where I purchase whatever I am selling (only one copy) to ensure the payment gateway etc. works.
Great point Christine! I had a big webinar many years ago and we didn’t test the sales page – guess what…? Lots of people trying to buy, unable to buy and while on a live webinar – not good!

Hi Marcy! Infographics are doing well, as are short-targeted videos and webinar events – the most important thing though is to have something your audience really, really, really wants AND show them how buying or investing in themselves through you / your products makes sense for them.

Frank, I think the times I’ve had the greatest successes with my listbuilding in whichever niche I’m in has been when I am having the MOST fun creating and delivering stuff to my audience. I like to think of one person, usually my best friend – that I’m trying to help. There’s something that happens when you have fun and I think it comes through!
I agree listbuilding is still very important in any niche. Great advice on keeping things simple and not overwhelming your audience.
