Heartwork Journal Flipthrough Video
I CANNOT believe it’s almost the end of the year! I wanted to show you what one of my Heartwork Journals actually looks like on the inside.
Failure is Fertilizer.
After taping the video flipthrough, I realized that this is not one of my “prettiest” journals. And that is actually PERFECT and illustrates Heartwork Journaling Guideline #1 “Failure is Fertilizer”.
I would rather show you one of my journals with lots of stuff that isn’t “beautiful” or even “pretty”. I want this type of journaling to be accessible to many people and many people are still scared of trying art and making marks on paper.
Heartwork Journaling is much more than artwork and creativity.
Heartwork Journaling is NOT about your artwork, it’s the practice of using art to process your emotions, heal the past, show kindness to yourself, it’s a nurturing way to play and rest and it promotes self-discovery.
The power of setting your intentions and celebrating wins, big and small.
As I walk through the pages, I show the ways I use this type of journaling. AND I realized as I went through one of the first pages that a LOT of the intentions I had set into motion at the beginning of the year have happened. It made me sit back and celebrate those small and big wins.
We do NOT do that enough in our culture. My invitation to you today is to look back and find some wins because they are there if you look for them.
Play the video below and we’ll walk through this Heartwork Journal together.
I hope this video flipthrough you some ideas and examples for how to use Heartwork Journaling to
- set intentions
- help yourself feel better
- stay focused on what YOU want to create
- de-program what our culture’s media “programs” us with (scarcity, not enoughness, etc)
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours!
I’m SO grateful and appreciative to all my wonderful Heartworkers this year!
I love the idea of celebrating the small wins, they re-energize us and help us move to the big wins. Thank you Maritza.
Yay Rita!! Having your intentions and the small goals written somewhere (in addition to the big ones) so you can go back and even see that they WERE a win, definitely helps me so much!
